Honkapihan kuulumisia! Saimi ja Reino ovat jo kauan haaveilleet kunnon tallista, joka mahdollistaisi useamman hevosen pidon. Kuultuaan että naapurin vanha maajussi olisi halukas luopumaan navetastaan, Reino fillaroi katsomaan rakennuksen kunnon ja teki kaupat samantein!

News from the Pine Gardens! Saimi and Reino´s all time dream of having more than one horse around is about to become true. Reino found out that the neighbor was about to sell this lovely old barn next to the Pine Gardens Mansion. He rushed to check the place out and paid for the deposit immediately.

Tilaa on kolmelle hevoselle ja varusteetkin saa kätevästi saman katon alle. Vanha ruuna Herman jo testailee uutta kotiaan eikä välitä sikin sokin olevista mittauspalkeista, joilla remonttireiska yrittää hahmottaa tulevien karsinoiden kokoa.

There is enough room for three horses and for the equipment needed. The couple´s old gelding Hermanni is already gettin comfortable in his new home and tries to ignore the wooden pieces I used to measure the places for the stalls.

Reino tarkastaa vieläkö etupihan lamppuun saisi eloa.

Reino is trying to figure out wheter it´s still possible to get this old lamp alive.

Ainakin tänne on sähköt joskus vedetty, täytynee tarkastaa asia kun remontti etenee.

At least there has been electricity at some point. I have to check this when I finally have time to get started with this project.

Perustus ja hirret ovat kunnossa ja tästä saa hienon kodin Hermannille ja tuleville eläinystäville. Ensi viikolla on tarkoitus puhkoa lisää ikkunoita, jotta saadaan päivänvalo sisälle. Lattiaan valetaan uusi betoni tai mahdollisesti oikein kunnon kivilaatoitus. Ja sitten karsinoita rakentamaan, tätä on odotettu!

The basics of the building look alright. This will make a perfect stable for Hermanni and some new friends. I should start this by making more windows as we need to get some daylight in there. The floor needs some tiling to be able to handle the weight of the horses. Can´t wait to get this started!
